There could be other community members having the same issue. In case your skin doesn’t work, make sure to check if you pasted and replaced all the necessary files and refer to the post you downloaded the skin from. They are in the Downloads section under the War Thunder Game folder. Now your skin is ready! If you want to install custom skins on other War Thunder vehicles, follow the same steps. The War Thunder files can be downloaded from the Gaijin Entertainment website. In War Thunder switch the UserSkin from default to the one you just installed (press “Refresh” on the right if the skin didn’t appear).Copy and paste the contents from the downloaded folder there replacing all the files.Open a folder named template_*your plane model here* (you can rename the folder later to change the skin’s name).Open your War Thunder UserSkin folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Gajin\War Thunder\UserSkins (Launcher) or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\War Thunder\UserSkins (Steam).
